Individual Therapy

Individual therapy offers a safe and supportive space for you to openly share your story, explore your deepest and most difficult truths, and actively engage in developing essential tools that foster resilience. Throughout this process, I will stand by your side with compassion and understanding, helping you to feel more grounded, centered, and whole as you navigate your journey toward healing and growth.

Individual therapy can also address a number of concerns, many clients begin therapy with me to address the following:

  • Breaking old relational patterns & increasing effective communication skills

  • Trauma & post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

  • Identity exploration

  • Increasing self-esteem

  • Depression & anxiety

  • Life transitions

Couples Therapy

Therapy for couples offers a safe and supportive space to attune to each other’s needs, focusing on strengthening relational connectedness and building a more trusting, secure system of safety. Whether you are just beginning your journey together or have faced challenges over time, this process encourages growth, understanding, and deeper emotional intimacy.

Couples therapy can address a variety of goals, including:

  • Connecting more deeply & securely

  • Increasing quality and/or frequency of intimacy

  • Managing life transition & adjustments

  • Recovering from betrayal or increasing overall trust

  • Communicating more effectively to feel fully heard or validated

Couples Intensives

Some couples find that traditional, time-limited couples therapy does not provide enough space for the healing they desire. In these cases, intensive sessions may be appropriate. An intensive session offers the opportunity to dive deeply into your relationship work in a focused, supportive setting. Rather than spreading sessions out over weeks or months, intensives provide several hours of therapy in a single day, allowing us to slow down, get to the root of patterns, and create meaningful change more quickly. Intensives are ideal for couples who are feeling stuck, navigating a crisis, or wanting to reconnect and strengthen their bond. Using evidence-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), parts work, and the Gottman Method, we’ll work together to identify what’s keeping you disconnected and help you rebuild safety, trust, and closeness.

LGBTQIA+ & Social Justice Oriented Therapy

At the heart of Rooted Willow is a commitment to creating a space where every client feels affirmed, respected, and safe. I recognize that many people in the LGBTQIA+ community and other marginalized groups have experienced stigma or barriers when seeking care, and I strive to make therapy a place where those experiences are not repeated.

My approach is grounded in affirming practices that celebrate the full spectrum of gender, cultural identities, sexual orientations, spiritual ideologies, and relationship structures. I actively work to understand how systemic inequities, cultural narratives, and intersecting identities impact mental health and relationships. Therapy is not just about healing as an individual, it’s also about honoring the contexts in which we live and finding ways to create more authentic, empowered, and connected lives.

Social justice is woven into how I listen, how I show up, and how I practice. My goal is to provide care that not only supports your personal growth and healing but also validates your lived experience and the resilience it takes to move through the world as your authentic self.
